With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth O'Byrne (Savoy, Illinois), born in Tuscola, Illinois, who passed away on July 5, 2021 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Dr. Henry E. Munkvold and Mary Burns Munkvold; her husband J. Michael O'Byrne; her children, Stephen O'Byrne and Ellen O'Byrne; her grandchildren, Meghan McDaniel, Samantha Morris, James O'Byrne (Jamie) and Katherine O'Byrne (Katie) of Grand; and also Jack O'Byrne.
In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory can be made to the Champaign County Humane Society or the American Diabetes Association.
