We are sad to announce that on September 26, 2018, at the age of 96, Robert Shapland (Savoy, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, John, Earl and James; and his close friends, Jack O'Byrne, Roy Hoppe and John McBride.
He is survived by: his spouse Nell Ruth O'Byrne; and his brother George. He is also survived by grandchildren and eighteen great-grandchildren.
The family has designated Alzheimer's Association, in honor of Bob's late wife Nell Ruth, for memorial contributions.
