It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Hackl (Savoy, Illinois), born in Springfield, Illinois, who passed away on November 13, 2020, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Hackl and Margaret Mohr Hackl; his brothers, Jack and Richard Hackl; and his grandson Will Tate.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Shaw Hackl; his daughters, Belinda Millis (Bruce), Myra Gillespie and Melissa Tate (John); his grandchildren, Adam Millis (Jenny), Andy Millis (Whitney), Austin Millis, Michael Smith (Nicky), Liz Smith, Alec Gillespie (Kenzie), Ben Tate (Nikki) and Sara Tate (Jamie); his great grandchildren, Nikki Jones, Piper Wolfe, Jeremiah, Aubrey, Kennedy Millis, Maddox Holstein and Nicolas Smith; and his brother Ron Hackl. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
