It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Brandner of Savoy, Illinois, born in Spring Valley, Illinois, who passed away on April 14, 2022, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Brandner and Beatrice Hight Brandner; and his brother Larry Brandner. He is survived by: his spouse Gale Tharp of Mahomet; his siblings, James L. Brandner and Priscilla Bloomquist; his nephews, Michael Brandner, Douglas Brandner and Nathan Bloomquist; and his niece Ashley Bloomquist.

Memorials may be directed to University of Illinois Master Gardeners program or Illinois Valley Beekeepers Association.
