It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phil Hoggatt (Savoy, Illinois), born in Urbana, Illinois, who passed away on July 30, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Hoggatt and Ilus Royal Hoggatt; and his sister Judith Manning of Wichita, Kansas.. He is survived by: his children, Angela Singletary of Windemere, FL, Andrew Hoggatt (Tammy) of Champaign, IL and Melinda Mattson (Dirk) of San Antonio, TX.; his grandchildren, Adam (Brianna), Sarah (Nathan), Tyler, Jacob, Hannah, Claire, Emerson and Ainsley; and his great grandchild Charlotte. He is also survived by four nieces, two nephews, and uncountable friends, colleagues, and neighbors.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you to share kindness, trust in God's love, and laugh heartily. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Savoy.
