He was predeceased by: his parents, Julia Harris Dodds and Donald C. "Pick" Dodds Sr.; his former wife Susan Edwards; his children, Jason Harris Dodds (Lynnette) and Holly Harris Dodds; and his wife Lisa Lindsay Whitworth.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Bryan Whitworth (Ashley) and Meghan Biddle (Ben); and his grandchildren, Hayden Dodds, Olivia Dodds, Davis Whitworth, Charlie Biddle, Lisa Whitworth, William Biddle and Lindsay Biddle.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Champaign Country Club (1211 S Prospect Ave, Champaign, IL 61820).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honor to the Champaign Park District Foundation and the Champaign Public Library Foundation.
