She was predeceased by: her parents, Sebastian Schmitt and Anna Schmitt (Schlund); her husband Roy Blan; and her children, Belinda Maria Blan and David Allen Blan.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Blan of Urbana and Linda Blan of Urbana; her grandchildren, Jessica Pippin, Ashley Reinhart and Robert Blan; and her brother Lothar Schmitt of Germany. She is also survived by 11 great grandchildren, a great great grandchild.
