She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Kinnear and Lena Inez Kinnear (Lincicome); her husband Gaylord Brown; and her brothers, Charles Kinnear, Thomas Kinnear and Jack Kinnear.

She is survived by: her children, Craig Brown of Champaign, Carolyn Mast (Eric) of Champaign and Carla Overturf (Richard) of Oakland, IL; her grandchildren, Benjamin Mast (Angel), Nathan Mast (Ashley), Jenna Mills (Brian), Daniel Gaither (Alexandra) and Katelyn Brown; and her sister Alice Perrine of San Diego, CA.. She is also survived by 7 great grandchildren.
