It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Evelyn Bergland (Savoy, Illinois), born in Bloomington, Illinois, who passed away on December 20, 2019, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick D. Treseler and Florence Wolf-Treseler; her husband Louis J. Bergland; her brother Frederick C. Treseler; and her niece Marcia Siders.
She is survived by: her stepdaughter Martha Thomson; her grandchildren, Karin, Rebecca, David and Kevin; her niece Peggy; her great-nieces, Angela and Erin; and her great-nephew Robert.
Per her wishes donations can be made to The Empty Tomb in Champaign, IL and the Champaign County Humane Society.
