He was predeceased by: his parents, John F. Sheppelman and Laura E. Ringler Sheppelman; his former wife Amelia C. Hansen; and his sister Elvera Sheppelman. He is survived by: his wife Susan Sheppelman of Savoy; his daughters, Cindy Meister (Earl) of Mt. Prospect, Becky Allen and Lori Sheppelman of Champaign; his granddaughters, Brianna Meister of Mt. Prospect and Glenna Meister of Cambridge, MA; and his sister Vivian Jordan of Onarga.

Memorial contributions may be made to Shriners Childrens Hospital, Moore's Rescue Ranch or Trinity Lutheran Church of Urbana.
