He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Ervin Ditzler and Ruth Ditzler (Nalley); his wife Virginia Ann Hardy; his sister Betty; his children, Douglas Ditzler (Florida), Denise Bender and Diane Ditzler; his grandchildren, Aerin Bender, Katie Seiffertt (Michael), Nicholas Bender (Sarah Corcoran), Tristan Bender (Rachel) and Jason Ditzler; his great grandchildren, Oscar, Lily, Harriet, Elise, Naomi, Charlie, Finley, Aurora, Cadence and Jasper; and his siblings, Judy Webb (Bill) and Floyd Ditzler.
