He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Carroll and Mabel Carroll (Smothers); his siblings, Mary Ellen, Georgeanne, Betty, Polly and Ben; and his wife Madge Carroll (Eddleman).
He is survived by: his sons, Doug (Patty) of Atlanta, Lynn (Deborah) of Atlanta and Steve (Terri) of Indianapolis, Ind.; and his grandchildren, Brad (Kelsey) of Phoenix, Ariz., Peyton of Erie and Luke of Indianapolis.
