She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolph Hoops and Effie Ringo Hoops; and her spouse W. T. Hodge, Jr.. She is survived by: her brother Don Hoops of Cleveland; her nieces, Susan Witlock of Cleveland Tennessee and Mary Pribyl of Hawthorne Woods; and her nephew Dr. Michael Hoops of Cleveland Tennessee.
She lived her life by the Thomas Paine adage, "Governments arise either out of the people or over the people."Memorial contributions may be made to the Mahomet Public Library District.
