He was predeceased by: his parents, Leendert and Elizabeth of Witte; his wife Maria E. Boom; and his siblings, Janny Roest, Rinus and Leendert of Witte.
He is survived by: his son Maarten (Jill); his grandchild Beverly Ann; his daughters, Bette Leach (Bob) and Beverly Ann Fraser; his grandsons, Jesse Fraser (Lindsay McDonald), Seth Fraser (Erin McKenzie) and Skylar Denny of Witte; and his great grandchildren, Ewan, William McDonald-Fraser and Thoreau McKenzie-Fraser. He is also survived by Papa as he was known by his children, Opa as he was known by his grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an Environmental or Children's charity of one's choice.
