He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Nye and Mary Josephine Nye (Bailey); and his brother Tom Nye. He is survived by: his former wife Bonnie Zink; his wife Donna Schrader; his children, Tina Updike (Robert Breitbach) of Mt. Carroll, IL, Brenda Nye of Morrison, IL and Tim Nye (Marion Wilkins) of Fulton, IL; his grandchildren, Crystal Updike, Joshua Updike (Jennifer), James Gregory Nye and Chelsea Nye; his brother Ron Nye (Adele) of Morrison, IL; and his half-brother Doug Seelye (Joanne) of Morrison, IL. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
