He was predeceased by: his parents, Louis Sancken and Lorene Sancken (DeBoer); his daughter Rita Murphy; and his siblings, Howard and Anna Mae Popp.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Branz; his children, Randy Sancken (Michelle) of Pontiac and Renee Snyder (Mike) of Saunemin; his sister Rita Deany (Ron) of Chatsworth; and his grandchildren, Brandon Sancken (Julie), Wesley Sancken (Bria), Lucas Sancken (Lydia), Austin Moore (Angie), Megan Lanning (Joe), Kristin Murphy, Kevin Snyder (Kaitlin) and Kara Snyder. He is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be given to Saunemin United Methodist Church or Carle BroMenn Hospice in Bloomington.
