It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James A. Markevicus of Saunemin, Illinois, who passed away on August 22, 2020, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Alphonse Markevicus and Bernice Markevicus; and his nephews, Matt Smith and Alex Horrie. He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Smith (late Jim), Susan and Greg Markevicus (Donna). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations in James's name to The Salvation Army of Pontiac, 112 N. Division St., Pontiac, IL 61764 would be most appreciated.
