She was predeceased by: her parents, Bert Lee and Alma Lee (Kolhmeier); and her husband Charles Mies. She is survived by: her sons, Charles L. Mies (Susan) of Geneva, IL and James R. Mies (Mary) of Petersburg, IL; her sister Bessie Rich (Lee) of Saunemin, IL; her cousins, Eldon Kolhmeier and Mavis Barski; and her grandchildren, Kirk Mies (Renee), Jennifer Corso (Joe), James Mies (Jennifer) and Sarah Mies. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and 10 nieces and nephews.
