He is survived by: his children, Joseph Newsome III (Kelli), Tracy Noorlag (Mike Tokich), Jennifer Rahn (Dan) and Jaime Newsome; his brother Richard G. Stange (Linda); his nieces, Christine Stange and Michelle Stange; his aunt Jean Matz; and his friends, Donna, Emory, Ken, Teresa, Patti and Carrie. He is also survived by 17 cousins.
