She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Omer Lawson and Myrtle Lawson; her husband Charles Wendel Smith; her siblings, Glen Lawson of Dalton, GA, Loretta Mansfield of Michie, TN, Melvin Lawson of Schererville, IN, James Lawson of Jackson, TN, Phillip Lawson of Poulan, GA and Linda Aiken of Walker, LA.; and her daughters, Rhonda (Wayne) of Oregon, IL, Karen, Loretta "Lori" (Mike) of Sauk Village, IL, Clara (Don) of Springville, AL and Charlene "Charlie" of Orland Park, IL.. She was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
