He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Alba S. Martorell; his daughters, Sonia Priscilla Martorell (Daniel James), Sandra Yanira Tijerina (Steve), Rosa Jacqueline Padilla (Refugio), Leticia Martorell, Myrna Luz Martorell and Evelyn Martorell; and his siblings, Mary, Deidad, Isabel, Josefina and Juan. He was also cherished by ten grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
