He is survived by: his wife Rosalie Ruiz; his children, Diana Ruiz, Alexander Ruiz Jr. and Joel Ruiz; and his siblings, John Ruiz (Joan), Oralia Ruiz and Amadita Martinez (Albert). He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
