She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Unfried and Sarah Unfried (Driscoll); her siblings, Margaret, Mary Frances, Genevieve, Beatrice, Rose, Lawrence, Willard, Leo, Ambrose and Hubert; and her son Timothy.

She is survived by: her husband Obert K. Viland, Jr.; and her children, Diane (Wesley), Donna Franklin, Bernard Boeger (Carol) and Bruce Boeger. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
