He was predeceased by: his parent Homer Ruple of Bill, L. C.; and his sibling Reedie Ruple. He is survived by: his wife Margaret (Jean) of Sandwich; his children, Kathleen Wolfe (John) of Earlville, David Slaughter (Linda) of Mineral Wells, TX, Paul Slaughter (Melanie) of Sandwich, IL and Matthew Slaughter (Jennifer) of Earlville, IL; and his siblings, Sarah Campbell, Bob of Arkansas, Stanley of Arkansas and Jack of Arkansas. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; 35 nieces and nephews.
