He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Wendland and Ellen Wendland (Miller); and his daughter Wendy Sprague. He is survived by: his former wife Jacqueline M. Parks; his wife Jackie; his children, Lori St (Pete) and Robert Wendland (Nancy) of Glen Ellyn, IL; his grandchildren, Jessica Belicka (Andy), Laurel Wright, Jordan Wendland, Taylor Wendland and Connor Wendland; his stepgrandchildren, Danielle Ware and Christopher Ware; and his great grandchild Harper. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. John's Lutheran building fund.
