He was predeceased by: his parents, Obert Viland and Evelyn Viland (Gerhris). He is survived by: his wife Terry Boeger; his stepchildren, Diane Scott (Wes) of Yorkville, IL, Donna Franklin of Plano, IL, Bruce Boeger of Dekalb, IL and Bernard Boeger (Carol) of Newark, IL; and his siblings, Raymond and Sonja. He is also survived by 5 step-grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church (340 W Arnold St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A Mass was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
