With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lois Elaine (Tuttle) Burkhart of Sandwich, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 29, 2024 at the age of 97. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ben Tuttle and Elma Tuttle; her siblings, Audrey and Gerald; her husband William Jacob Burkhart; her son Kent; and her grandsons, Grant and Brandon.
She is survived by: her children, Karla S. Johnson, Keith J. Burkhart, Kevin J. Burkhart (Vicki), Kimberly A. Martin, Kathleen M. Astin (Gary) and Kristi L. Erickson.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Burkhart-Eighner Funeral Home - Sandwich (606 E Arnold St, Sandwich, IL 60548). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Oak Ridge Cemetery (2400 Suydam Rd, Sandwich, IL 60548).
