It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leonard Filipski of Sandwich, Illinois, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on September 19, 2020, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Filipski and Anna Filipski; his son Stephen Anthony Filipski; and his siblings, Irene Galle, Roman Filipski and Frank Filipski.
He is survived by: his significant other Marie Hannon; his children, Michael Filipski (Lurene), Barbara Gardine (Jim), Joseph Filipski (Tina), Gary Filipski, David Filipski (Denise) and Diane Vermilye (Ron); and his daughter-in-law Linda Filipski. He is also survived by his many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
