It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John William Kell of Sandwich, Illinois, who passed away on August 30, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John W. Kell and Flora Kell (Nelson); his wife Genevieve M. Kell; his son John Steven Kell; his granddaughter Sandra Elizabeth Mathis; and his half-siblings, Alvin, Clarence Miller, Francis Toombs and Elsie Campbell.
He is survived by: his children, Wayne Hanson of Sandwich, Daniel Kelsey (Linda) of Michigan, Gerald Kell (Debra) of Sandwich, Mary Jones (Ron) of Sandwich and Richard Kell (Ramona) of Sandwich; his grandchildren, Brooke Morgan (Corey) of Normal, IL, Christopher Kell (Melissa) of Sandwich, Ryan Kell of Normal, IL and Steven Mathis (Erika) of Plainfield, IL.; his great grandchildren, William Morgan, David Kell, Catherine Kell and Gabriella Mathis; his niece Karen Beers; and his great-nephew Jeff Beers. He is also survived by several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.
