He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Olson and Lucille Olson (Canham); his sisters-in-law, Faith Brady Olson and Vicky Morton; and his brother Thomas "Gene" Olson.
He is survived by: his wife Dova; his daughters, Traci Grandgeorge (Dan) of Somonauk, Diane Janssen (Kent) of Sandwich and Jeri Schweikert (Steve) of Yorkville; his grandchildren, Matt Grandgeorge (Lisa), Jaci Grandgeorge (Katie), Lauren Janssen, Nichole Janssen, Morgan Janssen, Ben Schweikert and Caroline Schweikert; his great grandchildren, Londyn, Phoenix and Remington; his sister Karen Fuchs (Bill) of Punta Gorda, FL; and his siblings-in-law, Steve Morton (Peggy) and Carrol Olson.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
