He was predeceased by: his wife Joan C. Balke; his parents, George Balke and Charlotte Balke; and his siblings, Betty Ann Balke and William Balke.
He is survived by: his sister-in-law Alice Johnson; his cousin John Mollison; and his friends, William Shultz (Barbara), Stephen Leary (Michele), Mark DiMaria, Manuel Guerra, Rick Shultz, Kerry Moran and Ken Turner.
