He was predeceased by: his wife Harriet; his stepson Doug Means; his parents, Stella Florian and Herbert Florian (Emma); his siblings, Betty Dale, Randall Bower (Elizabeth), Lavern Bower (Oral) and Doris Zerby (Harry); and also, Calvin Bower and Anna Bower.
He is survived by: his aunts and uncles, Calvin Bower, Anna Bower, Stewart Bower and Hazel Bower; his daughters, Jean Erickson of Plano, IL and Judy Murphy of Idaho Springs, CO; his grandchildren, Diane Wesley (Kreg) of Sycamore, IL, Matthew Podschweit (Mary Kaye) of Colorado Springs, CO, Verhonica Hirst of Lakewood, CO, Regan Wesley, Taylor Wesley, Aubrey Podschweit, Emily Podschweit, Alexandra Hirst and Kennedy Hirst; and his sister Emmajean Peterson of Sioux Center, IA. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
