He is survived by: his wife Margaret Starr; his children, Reyne Dockins (Starr), Regina Starr (Todd Richardson), Dot Bowen (Blaine), Fred (Starr), Ellis, Sandra Drake (Brian), Gaylen Starr (Juanita) and April; and his sister Bertha Nye. He is also survived by 8 step-children; 31 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren.
