Abel (Sandwich, Illinois), born in Aurora, Illinois, who passed away on December 5, 2018, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, John Abel and Anna Abel (Holldorf); his siblings, John and Helen; his brother-in-law Kenneth Herman; his sister Annette; his brother-in-law Henry Banser; his sister Lydia; and his brothers-in-law, Clarence Schilling and Robert Moser of Oswego.

He is survived by: his children, Cynthia (Richard Mueller) of Plano, Peggy (Wes Bettcher) of Lynchburg and Paul Abel (Mila Dungca) of Hoffman Estates; his sister Lois Moser of North Aurora; his child Margaret Jarzombek of Yorkville; his grandchildren, Briana Beck (Cody) of Surprise, Joel Parker (Holly) of Lee's Summit, Gerrod Mueller of Plano, Stephanie Owens (Chris) of Nashville and Nathaniel Bettcher (Haley) of Springdale; and his great grandchildren, Troy, Daniel Schindlbeck, Vincent Humpage, Tristan, Heaven, Xavier Settle, Nolan, Violet and Lilly Parker. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and good friends.
