Charles H. Nelson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 5, 2022, at the age of 79, Charles H. Nelson (Sandwich, Illinois) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Axel "Swede" Nelson and Emma Nelson (Heminover); his siblings, Rick, Dave Nelson and Marie Johnson; and his brothers-in-law, Don "Pinky" Gates and Wallace Alsip.
He is survived by: his wife Kay L. Olson; his daughter Jennifer Voss (Eric) of Leland, IL; his grandchildren, Connor and Delaney Voss; his sisters, Pat Gates of Somonauk, IL and Rita Alsip of Joliet, IL; and his siblings-in-law, Herman Johnson, Barb of Leland, IL and Terri Nelson of Leland, IL. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to The Ronald McDonald House, Coles Camp, or any animal rescue /shelter of one's choice.
