It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Anita Karen Pellegrini of Sandwich, Illinois, born in Evergreen Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 19, 2023, at the age of 69, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jack Howard and Marion Howard; and her granddaughter Kolby Elizabeth Pellegrini. She is survived by: her children, Brittany Dawn Cukierski (Tony), Tyler Vincent Pellegrini (Jaimie) and Dustin Howard Pellegrini (Kelly); her grandchildren, Michael, Hadley and Gianna; her former husband Rick; her sister Toni; and her pets, Panda and Nino. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, co-workers, students, neighbors, former classmates, theater friends.

Anita also devoted time to the Sandwich Education Foundation and Sports Boosters, and continued to attend many Sandwich sporting events long after her children had graduated.
