Thomas Nicolay Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thomas Nicolay of Sandoval, Illinois, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 93. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas E. Nicolay and Bessie E. Nicolay (Chapman); his sisters, Virginia Tyl (Henry), Mary DeChenne (Roy), Dorothy Carter (Charles) and Effie Blackburn (Xon); his grandchildren, Knute and Lauren Castellari; and his son-in-law Louis Castellari.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn; his children, Debbie Weiss (Tony) of Centralia, Marcia Castellari (Dan Bringman) of Centralia, Lisa Watson (Tom) of Sandoval and John Nicolay (Kelly Gilroy) of Chicago; and his grandchildren, Amber Timmons, Todd Weiss (Kathy), Kyle Weiss, Josh Gore, Andrea Collins (Adam), Adam Gore (Brandi), Karisa Neudecker (Mike) and Andrew Watson (Candice). He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Sandoval Fire Department or Shriners Hospital for Children.
