Rosetta Mae Shaffer Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rosetta Mae Shaffer of Sandoval, Illinois, who passed away on October 17, 2024, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Paul and Marcilla Mae Wilkins (Quinlan); her husband Raymond L. Shaffer; her siblings, Ruby Paulton, Alta Marie Wilkerson, Darin Dale Wilkins, Joseph Wilkins Jr. and Paul Eugene Wilkins II of Salem; her sons, Danie Lee "Boonie" Shaffer and Mike Shaffer; her granddaughter Kimberly Rae Shaffer; and her sister-in-law Delores Wilkins.
She is survived by: her children, Donald Sr., Carolyn Shaffer of Odin, Larry Sr., Karen Shaffer of Shattuc, Cindy and Charles "Chuck" Newcomb of Salem; her grandchildren, Tosha, Mike McHenry, Larry Shaffer Jr., Donnie Jr., Ronica Shaffer, Jason, Chrystal Shaffer, Jill, Cary Hercules, Julie Shaffer, Brandon Miller, Breann Miller, Bryan Bonvicino and Brittany Miller (Draven); her great grandchildren, Travis Shaffer, Lucas Shaffer, Levi McHenry, Brandie McHenry, Ethan Gramlick, Abby Shaffer, Dakota Shaffer, Brett Shaffer, Caden Shaffer, Jordan Shaffer, Jacob Shaffer, Jaden Shaffer, Tristen Hercules, Myles Hercules, Hailey Miller, Jacob Miller, Caden Hutchings, Baylee Patten, Brenton Miller and Emma Patten; her great great grandchildren, Colt, Hunter, Prestley, Gazell, Simon, Tripp, Alalynn, Kayson and Mason; and her daughter-in-law Mary Shaffer of Sandoval. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family.
Memorials may be made in Rosetta's honor to First General Baptist Church.
