She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Hodge and Cecil Hodge (Sessions); her daughter Patricia "Patti" Matyasec of Bourbannais; her parents-in-law, Henry and Helen Nolte; her grandson Zachary Matyasec; her siblings, Eugene Hodge, Leon Hodge, Kenny Hodge, Robert Eugene "Bob" Hodge, Curt Hodge and Darlene Levart (Melvin); her brother-in-law Jerry Nolte; her nephews, Terry Hodge and Tim Nolte; and her niece Vicki Brckovich.
She is survived by: her sister Mary Ann Hubble (Lanny) of Odin; and her siblings-in-law, James Nolte (Carmen) of Iuka, Earl Nolte of Odin, Robert Nolte (Linda) of Iuka, David Nolte (Sheri) of Boulder, Bradley Nolte of Carlyle, Joan Hodge of Centralia, Ruth Holland (Richard) of Sandoval, Debra Albers Jr. (Ronald) of Carlyle and Mary Ann Nolte of Boulder.
Memorials may be made in Melba's honor to Bethlehem Lutheran Church or Bethlehem Ladies Aid/LWML and will be accepted for the family at the Day Macz Funeral Home 311 North Pine St. Sandoval, Il 62882.
