He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ashford and Opal Ashford (Westfall); and his siblings, Beverly Wickert, Sharon Milton, George Ashford Jr. and Richard Ashford.
He is survived by: his children, Vanessa Dillingham (Doug Marshke) of Greenwood and Jason Ashford of Sandoval, Illinois; and his brother Jerry Ashford of Sandoval, Illinois.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren.
