She was predeceased by: her parents, George W. Redell and Jessie L. Redell (Kindbusch); her husband Kenneth Curtis; her brother George W. Redell; and her half-sister Gertrude Shine.

She is survived by: her daughters, Penny Johnson (Kenneth), Jennifer Hanks (Scott), Amanda Foley (John) and Donna Ivey (Aaron). She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
