It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jim Higdon of San Jose, Illinois, born in Delavan, Illinois, who passed away on October 10, 2020, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Higdon and Gertrude Higdon (Pullum); and his siblings, Raymond Jr., Ronald, Kenneth and Bonnie Eyrse.
He is survived by: his wife Sue Woll; his children, Lori Carter of Hartsburg, Amy Bolen of Chatham and Jamie Higdon of Mason City; his grandchildren, Dustin Bolen, Dakin Bolen (Nicole), Cody Bolen (Holly), Jacob Steel, Colton Higdon, Braden Higdon, Tristan Higdon, Avery Higdon, Chelsey Rankin Hilgendorf (Tim) and Lacey Shelabarger; his great grandchildren, Layla Parrish, Arielle Odor, Kinzley Bolen, Emerson Bolen, Eislee Bolen and Roland Higdon; and his brother Robert Higdon of Jacksonville.
