It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Deletta M. Payne of San Jose, Illinois, born in Decatur, Illinois, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Marshall and Rose Weaver Marshall; and her great grandchild Daniel. She is survived by: her children, Tonya Sloter (Joe) of Hartsburg, Scott Payne (Connie) of Riverton, TyLinda Blackstock (Billy) of San Jose and Stacy Coon (Ralph) of Green Valley. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be made to San Jose Christian Church or Inner City Mission in Springfield.
