He is survived by: his significant other Sheila Pickel; his children, Paula Gibson (Frank) of Salem, Lisa Ballance (Curt) of Huntsville, AL, Cheryl Thoms of St. Louis, MO, Steve Thoms (Lisa) of Reno, NV, Kenneth Thoms (Carla) of Iuka and Robert Thoms (Pam) of Lafayette, LA; and his sister Carol Bass of Salem. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
