He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ayres and Lauribel Ayres (Wells); his sisters, Wilma Dale Ayres and Retta Latrelle "Leigh" Warren; and his close friend Jeannie Meadows.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Stephen "Mike" Warren (Jennie) of Centralia, Melinda Braun (Chris) of Centralia, Rhonda Garner (Jeff) of Centralia, Rick Brubaker of Salem and Lisa Kruse (Brian) of Sanger, Texas; and his close friends, Jack Applegate, Rick Smith and Sherry Lynch.
