He was predeceased by: his parents, William Everett Miller and Florence Miller (Cripe). He is survived by: his daughters, Cynthia Naudé (Jacobus) of Bloemfontein and Candace Howard (Wayne) of Salem; and his grandchildren, Nelmarie Kruger (Pieter), Salomie Viljoen (Gerrit), Christiana Nelson (James), Micah Howard (Katherine), Jason Howard (Rachel), Isaac Howard (Lauren), Nathan Howard, Andrew Howard, Rachelle Oziemkiewicz (Joseph) and Luke Howard. He is also survived by 22 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
