It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruby J. Gibbs (Salem, Illinois), who passed away on March 30, 2019, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Calvin Gibbs; her great grandchildren, Joey Huckaby and Claire Gibbs; and her sister Maggie Lou Fields. She is survived by: her children, Fitzgerald Underwear and Shirley; her son-in-law Gary Gaines; her son Roy; her daughter-in-law Nancy Gibbs of Cordele; her grandchildren, Ronald, Kay Huckaby of Statesboro, Rhonda, Tracy Paulk of Ocilla, Brad, Amy Gibbs of Atlanta, Chad, Lucy Gibbs of Brooks, Becky and Brian Galyean of Gainesville; and her great grandchildren, Hannah Gibbs, Katelyn Gibbs, Kristen Paulk, Rebecca Paulk, Halle Galyean, Brody Galyean, Ford Calvin Gibbs, Travis Mangelinks, Noel Burn and Caleb Roy Gibbs.
