He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Clifford Johnson and Gladys Johnson (Logsdon); and his sister Caroline Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Ruth M. Crawford; his grandchildren, Gilbert Johnson (Lara) of St. Louis, MO, Yvette Johnson of Springfield, Peyton Blodgett of Danville, Jolene Blodgett of Danville and Lily Salomon of Danville; and his sister Gay Phillips (Bob) of Salem. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
