It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Myrtle Wester Fields of Salem, Illinois, born in Iuka, Illinois, who passed away on July 18, 2023, at the age of 98, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Henery Fred; her husband Lawson Johnson Fields; her son Kenneth Fields; her grandsons, Keith and Kenny Ray Fields; her son-in-law Jim McConnaughhay; and her granddaughter-in-law Lisa McConnaughhay.
She is survived by: her mother Maude Francis Henne (Payne); her daughter Karen McConnaughhay of Salem; her grandsons, Gary McConnaughhay (Jeness) of Salem and Steve McConnaughhay (Larisa) of Salem, IL.; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Rebecca, Jennifer (David), Daniel and Mandy; and her sister Dorthy Snow (Alfred) of Salem. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the Donor's choice and will be received by the funeral home.
