It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melba Jean Jones of Salem, Illinois, born in Odin, Illinois, who passed away on October 16, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Kelly and Rosemond Kelly (Williamson); and her husband Raymond. She is survived by: her children, Garry Jones (Renee) of Louisiana, Terri Kramer (Ronald) of Salem and Deidre Jones of Salem; her grandchildren, Seth Jones, Shawn Rasul, Kiran Rasul and Anissa Wheeler; her great grandchildren, Alivia Rasul, Carson Bryan, Kameron Rasul, Atlee Rasul and Isaiah Wheeler; and her brother Ronnie Kelly. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
